Yung Balug is Expanding

The last sheet of Colourbond being attached.

The Yung Balug Museum is expanding our collection of local artefacts. We are extending our public display area with the construction of a new room. It is expected to be completed in late November. The new room will make room for the display of many more artefacts, not only from the Boort area but Australia-wide

We will keep you updated with the progress of the new building.

In the meantime we still have plenty to see in the current space and Paul is also able to give you a tour of actual scarred trees.

Book your visit today.

The new display room overlooks Lake Boort and boasts of great views.

There will be a further 83sqm of display area.

Here are some comments about our collection of artefacts and their importance:

This has been the best day of our holiday, a very humbling experience listening to your stories and the of the land and culture.
